About the Congressman John Lewis Scholarship
The scholarship is for minority colleges and universities that are members of the UNCF Institution. The creative novel has sharpened the edge and raised $5 billion. This has enabled UNCF to assist more than 500,000 students in becoming thriving business leaders. UNCF has supported 37 Black colleges and universities (HBCUs).
Additionally, it will prepare qualified candidates to serve as national spokespersons for the community to act as national spokespersons for the value of community engagement and minority education.

Criteria to apply for Congressman John Lewis Scholarships
- All applicants must be permanent residents of the United States.
- All applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- All applicants must be enrolled in Senior/Junior.
- All applicants are deemed to be members of the UNCF-affiliated College/University Group.
