Sasakawa Eligibility Criteria
- The Sasakawa Postgraduate Scholarship is open to students of different nationalities.
- Courses, subjects, and cultures related to the program will all be taught by the university.
- An applicant for a research degree program must hold at least a first-class or a second-class upper British Bachelor’s Honours Degree or its equivalent.
- PhD applicants must hold a Master’s degree.
Sasakawa Scholarship Application Procedures
- Applicants must submit their applications separately. It is necessary for all applicants to get a place centred around their course of study at the university in order to get this scholarship.
- In addition to their application for admission, applicants are required to submit the following documents: A previous degree certificate, photocopies of academic transcripts, proof of English Language Requirements, a personal statement and a copy of a valid passport.
- Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree with a second-class honours degree in economics.
- English proficiency for a research study program in an IELTS exam must be 6.5 overall with at least 6.0 in each of the four skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking). - The test must take place within two years of the commencement of the program for it to be valid. Degrees from countries where English is the primary language of instruction can be accepted if they do not exceed two years at the time of the proposed start date.
